UHF CARDS & TAGS OVERVIEW
Ultra-high frequency (UHF) cards and tags range from 860-960 MHz frequency and have the ability to be read at extended ranges (up to 20+ feet away). Out of the box, technology offers no encrypted features. However, you can load custom keys to encrypt and offer more significant layers of security on top of your cards and tags. UHF can be integrated with other technologies within your badges like low-frequency 125kHz proximity cards and a high frequency of 13.56 MHz contactless smart cards. They also come in a variety of form factors, including plastic badges, key tags, sticky labels, and hang tags for parking.
