We can assist you with our standard offering of printer tune-ups, repairs, phone training or installation services for all our products we offer. If you are interested in ColorID’s premiere service program, CHOICE Support Program. We want your experience with ColorID support to be a positive one. Our center is stocked with the most common parts needed for printer repairs as well as having a number of printer systems up and running for live testing & duplicating errors. We are open for normal business hours and are available after hours for those who have purchased off hours service contract.

Our Technical Support team, which is factory trained, repairs, installs, services, and offers training on all the printers we sell. Our Technical Support group is also responsible for ColorID’s in-house service bureau that prints approximately 1,000,000 dye-sublimation cards per year. These million cards are printed with the same printers we sell to our customers, so every ColorID technical support member has a great depth of first hand experience in the day-to-day operation of these printers.

You will receive prompt, knowledgeable support to help you with any questions or problems you may run into with your new printer. It is hard to put an exact dollar figure on the value of this free service, but we believe it dramatically reduces your risk of purchase.

Service Tracker
ColorID has a sophisticated, web based, tracking system that allows us to quickly and efficiently service you. There are four parts to the tracker system: Problem Calls, RMA, Product Serial Number, and Project Tracking.

Problem Call Tracker
Part of ColorID's Tracker System is our Problem Call Tracker. Every call that comes into our support line will be issued a Ticket Number. All the information about your trouble call is logged into our central Technical Support database. When you call back in for a follow up question regarding the same problem, your support ticket number will allow ColorID’s support engineering to quickly and efficiently find your problem history.

Part of ColorID's Tracker System is our Item Serial Number Tracker. This system tracks most product's serial numbers that we sell. By giving your product serial number to ColorID we can quickly look up all related Problem Call Tickets and Return Authorizations related to this product. This system also tracks your warranty for each product you own. It tells us when your warranty will expire and allows us to send you out a notice to inform you of your warranty expiration.

Part of ColorID's Tracker System is our Item RMA Tracker. The RMA tracker allows us to quickly issue you a RMA number when you are sending product or any item back to ColorID. This system will issue you a confirmation email that will give you full packing and shipping instructions. When your item arrives at ColorID receiving dock, this system is accessed with the RMA number on the outside of your package to correctly route your return and take any corrective action that may be necessary.

Printer Tune-Up Program
ColorID offers tune-up services for Fargo & Datacard ID printers to extend the life and improve the performance of your ID Printer including calibration, cleaning & testing. ColorID will restore the operation of your ID Printer and make it perform better for your next busy enrollment season. We have staff of Fargo & Datacard factory-trained technicians that will inspect, calibrate, clean & test your ID Card printer. This helps ensure that your ID Printer will be operating at maximum efficiency when you need it most. |
Printer Repair
ColorID is an Authorized Service Provider for all of the ID Printer Systems we sell. We maintain a large, well-staffed, in-house service department capable of upgrading, cleaning and repairing all of our ID systems. All of ColorID's US Fargo professional series ID Printer systems ship with an extendable one year all parts and labor warranty. This warranty includes an Overnight ID printer Loaner Service program for one year for each printer purchased. This allows our customers to have an up and working ID printer at all times. Our warranties are extendable from year to year at reasonable rates.
