California Proposition-65 regulation
The California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65 or "Prop-65") requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about exposure to chemicals that may cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. With the exceptions of government agencies and businesses with fewer than 10 employees, all companies that do business within the state of California are legally required to comply with Prop-65 by displaying clear and visible warnings to consumers.
As your value-added partner, it is our responsibility to inform you that some of the products you purchase from us may contain a Prop-65 warning, and that to comply with Prop-65 requirements, you are responsible for maintaining those warnings if and when these products are resold, repackaged, or otherwise altered from the labeled product as received. Additionally, if you have downstream distributors or retailers that repackage or resell your product, it is your responsibility to inform them of these Prop-65 labeling requirements. For more information on California Proposition 65, including frequently asked questions and answers, visit p65warnings.ca.gov. Contact ColorID directly if you wish to receive a list of products that are affected by this.
