Designing ID Badges:
Basics, Blind Spots, and What Comes Next
Thursday, June 11 @ 2:00 pm EST
|
Most organizations issue ID badges every day, but very few stop to ask whether their credential program is truly secure, modern, and prepared for what comes next.
The recently released SIA Credential Design Guide is the most comprehensive public resource the physical security industry has produced on badge and credential design. But understanding the recommendations is only part of the conversation. The bigger challenge is knowing how those recommendations apply in the real world, especially as organizations balance legacy prox technology, mobile credentials, security expectations, and operational realities. |
|
Join ColorID and HID Global for a candid discussion featuring Lindsay Martin-Nez, VP of Industry Engagement at HID and a primary contributor to the SIA Credential Design Guide, alongside ColorID’s David Stallsmith. Together, they’ll break down what the guide gets right, where organizations continue to struggle, and what practical steps security and identity leaders should be considering now.
This session goes beyond theory and vendor talking points. You’ll gain practical insight into badge design best practices, the growing risks tied to outdated credential technologies, what’s slowing mobile credential adoption, and how physical and mobile credentials can successfully co-exist within modern identity programs.
Whether you’re reviewing your current badge program, planning a migration away from legacy credentials, or evaluating mobile identity strategies, this webinar will provide actionable guidance and a vendor-neutral perspective you can immediately apply within your organization.
