The IDP SMART-31 ID Card Printer is a reliable, mid-range desktop printer designed for organizations that need professional ID card issuance with greater flexibility and throughput. Using direct-to-card dye-sublimation technology, the SMART-31 produces edge-to-edge cards with crisp images and text at 300 dpi color resolution, with up to 1200 dpi for monochrome printing. It can print full-color cards in roughly 20–23 seconds, producing up to about 156 cards per hour, and supports both single- and dual-sided configurations. With automatic card feeding, optional encoding for magnetic stripe or smart cards, and optional UV security printing, the SMART-31 is well-suited for schools, corporate ID programs, and access control credential issuance.
