The IDP SMART‑21 ID Card Printer is a compact, entry-level desktop printer designed for organizations that need a simple and affordable way to produce professional photo IDs and credentials on demand. Using dye-sublimation direct-to-card printing, the SMART-21 delivers edge-to-edge cards with sharp text and images at up to 300 dpi resolution. It can print full-color cards in about 24 seconds and supports speeds of roughly 150 color cards or up to 600 monochrome cards per hour. The printer features a lightweight, hand-fed design, USB connectivity, and optional security features such as UV printing and card encoding, making it ideal for small offices, schools, membership programs, and reception desks that require reliable, low-volume ID card issuance.​
