He has contributed to the decision-making process at many universities, healthcare facilities and government agencies as they considered acquiring contactless, smart card, mobile ID and biometric systems. Voted Presenter of the Year at the 2023 ECCA Conference in Warsaw (European Campus Card Association), David has also presented annually at the National Association of Campus Card Users conferences in the USA and Canada, NACAS annual and Leadership conferences, and full-day Identity Summits hosted by prominent universities.

Sanjit Bardhan is Vice President and Global Head of Mobile at HID, where he leads the global strategy and adoption of mobile access solutions. With more than two decades of international leadership experience, he has built and scaled businesses across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, and is recognised as an expert in SaaS, P&L management, and digital platforms. Renowned for coining the industry’s evolution as the “path from plastic to platform”, Sanjit articulates the journey from physical ID cards to mobile apps, digital wallets, and integrated identity. His thought leadership has been featured at major global conferences and in publications such as The Economist, Security Info Watch, and Intelligent CIO. In 2024, Sanjit was named a Security Innovator Award winner by Security Business Magazine. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from BITS Pilani and an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
