ColorID and Fargo offer multiple warranty options for the Professional Series Printers (including the DTC series and the Fargo HDP series printers).
 
Warranty Programs available:

ONE-YEAR FARGO FULL SERVICE WARRANTY
This warranty is included with all Professional Series Printer purchases. This one-year warranty covers all parts and labor and also your printhead for internal damages for one year. Our Overnight Loaner Service program comes with the DTC series printers at no extra charge. For the HDP printers the Overnight Loaner Service program is available for an additional fee.

LIMITED EXTENDED WARRANTY
The Limited Extended Warranty is available to ColorID customers in the continental US only. The warranty is a 12-month all parts and labor depot warranty that does not include the Overnight Loaner Service program. The warranty should be purchased sixty days before the end of the initial 1-year warranty, and can be renewed annually for up to three years. Each additional year of warranty coverage should be purchased 60 days before the current year's warranty expires. ColorID will pay for shipping repaired printers back to customers (based on UPS ground service). Usual turn-around time for all repairs is 3-5 business days after printer receipt.

NOTE: Printheads are only covered during the One-Year Fargo Full Service Warranty included with the printer.

FULL SERVICE EXTENDED WARRANTY
The Full-Service Warranty includes everything in the Limited Extended Warranty above, and includes enrollment in the 12 month Overnight Loaner Service Program.

OVERNIGHT LOANER SERVICE PROGRAM
ColorID's Overnight Loaner Service Program is included with the Full-Service Warranty described above. You may call ColorID Technical Support to diagnose the problem. If, in the opinion of ColorID Technical Support, the problem cannot be resolved through telephone troubleshooting, a loaner unit will be shipped to the user's site. When a request is received by 3:00 PM Eastern Time, a loaner unit will be shipped that same day via overnight delivery. You will then ship the defective printer to ColorID for service and repair. Upon receipt of the defective unit, ColorID cleans, repairs, tests, and returns the same unit to you. Usual turn-around time for most repairs is one week. All repaired printers will be returned by the most effective shipment method, based on customer location and urgency. The customer must ship the loaner unit back to ColorID within ten calendar days of receipt of the repaired unit, at their cost. (The loaner printer will contain a label for its return shipment to ColorID.) If the loaner unit is not received within ten days, ColorID will invoice the customer for the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of the loaner unit. ColorID will pay for shipping the loaner printer overnight to the customer.

HIGHTLIGHTS OF PROGRAM
Some of the highlights of the ColorID and Fargo warranty programs are as follows:

  • Free 800 Number Service.
    If you purchase a Fargo printer from ColorID, we will offer free telephone support for the life of your Fargo printer. (9-5 Eastern time.)
  • Printer Loaner Program.
    The Overnight Loaner Service program is included for the first year for all Fargo DTC series printers and is available for purchase for years 2-4 from ColorID.
  • Parts and Labor Replacement.
    All warranty programs include FREE parts replacement and repair labor. (Excluding Printheads after the 1st year.)
  • One-Year Printhead Warranty
    Your first year includes a printhead evaluation replacement warranty.
  • Fast Turn-around
    You will be provided with a fast turn-around on all repairs for your printer.
