Unlike other contactless smart card readers which read only the iCLASS serial number, the RP40 multiCLASS™ reader provides enhanced security through mutual authentication and data encryption when reading iCLASS cards.

- Mounting
A three-part reader makes installation easier.
Mounting plate attaches to U.S./EU/Asian back box, 52-60 mm screw hole
spacing (vertical or horizontal), or to any flat surface. Reader body fits
onto mounting plate. Cover fits over reader body, secured with a screw.An
auto-tuning circuit provides consistent read ranges on various mounting
surfaces with minimal reduction on metal surfaces.
